Sejala Beach Huts are a special place for a magical tropical experience under the coconut trees right on sensational unspoilt Mission Beach. Just three lovely large designer huts are set in a gorgeous private tropical garden on the native foreshore a few metres from the Coral Sea. No taxis or travel from surrounding beaches only a four minute walk along the beach or path to the casual dining and shopping in the peaceful little township of Mission Beach where you will still find that old far north Queensland tropical charm and ambience.
At Sejala Beach Huts you can indulge your every mood. Enjoy a beautiful solitude or comfortable companionship in extraordinary surroundings, a little casual shopping or dining, a walk or bike ride along the pristine shore or arrange a hut pick-up for a thrilling challenge such as a tandem sky dive onto the beach right in front of your hut, white-water rafting on the famous Tully River rapids or a scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef.
The huts are large and beautifully appointed with painted timber floors, comfortable sofas, queen size beds and en-suite garden bathrooms. They may be enjoyed air conditioned and screened or ventilated in the traditional tropical manner with shutters and overhead fans and the lovely breeze and sounds from the sea. Each opens onto a verandah with a barbecue, a little dining setting for two or three and the option of deck chairs and hammock with the fringing palm trees and beach almonds the stunning backdrop.
Exclusive Egyptian cotton bed linen, towels monogrammed with the famous Sejala pink totem, beach towels and L’Occitane toiletries are provided. The kitchenette allows the choice of self catering or gourmet delivery and you may decide to dine on local fresh fish from the barbecue under a full moon and starry sky or watch the sun rise as you barbecue eggs for breakfast on the verandah.
The garden is laden with heliconias and gingers of much variety and the pool is tucked away privately where it offers another beautiful place to relax on loungers either in the sun or under the lovely trees which provide a cooling shade. Ulysses butterflies, sunbirds, parrots and flocks of native birds flutter by and the Sejala goanna can usually be seen wandering out to the foreshore in the late afternoon. A cassowary or a pair of wallabies may even drop in. The idyllic tropical holiday.
